“Smart – Sustainable – Safe”: That was the motto of LogiMAT 2022, the largest and leading intralogistics trade fair in Europe. After a two-year pandemic hiatus, 1,571 exhibitors from 39 countries created a tremendous sense of new beginnings over three trade fair days for more than 50,000 visitors. The focus was on current solutions, systems, and equipment for reliable automation and digital transformation—across an exhibition area of over 125,000 square meters in ten halls at the Stuttgart exhibition center. Numerous product premieres and world innovations set significant impulses for efficient, future-ready intralogistics processes.
The following questions were the focus:
How should companies handle the raw material of the future—data—efficiently and securely?
How should the interfaces between skilled workers, production resources, and intelligent robotic assistants be defined to optimize workplaces?
How can virtual worlds cover the critical scenarios that demonstrate concrete pathways?
Right in the middle of this inspiring activity: HK.SYSTEMS GmbH and ROBIOTIC GmbH! Together with Solconia GmbH and INDUTRAX GmbH, they presented intelligent IoT solutions for smart logistics processes. A great example: Heiko Ehrmann from Würth Industrie Service GmbH presented the new “smart workplace” as the digital workplace of the future. HK.SYSTEMS developed and produces a key component for this: the iSCALE IoT scale. The system transmits the fill level of Kanban boxes and automatically triggers reorders. An absolute global innovation for complete C-parts management!
After three days of LogiMAT, the highly motivated team of Sven Ehrmann, Christian Schiele, and Thomas Krekeler looks back on everything that is only possible in such concentrated form at trade fairs: Intensive networking, promising conversations, new customer contacts, and stimulating visits from current customers and partners such as Würth Industrie Service GmbH & Co. KG or Balluff GmbH.
Conclusion: Our presence at LogiMAT was a complete success! We look forward to participating again next year.
