As early as 2019, the ground-source heat pump “EcoTouch Ai1 Compact” by Waterkotte, designed by Industrialpartners, won the German Design Award. In 2020, Waterkotte can also celebrate the German Design Award for the newly developed air-source heat pump “EcoTouch Ai1 Air Bloc” in the category “Excellent Product Design – Energy”.
Heat pumps are the more environmentally friendly alternative to conventional gas or oil heating systems and have gained increasing importance in recent years. Low emission levels and heating costs, as well as durability and rapid payback, are motivating more and more people to switch to alternative energy sources.
However, these heat pumps had one problem so far: they were loud and not particularly attractive. industrialpartners is changing that, impressing in the product development of the new air-source heat pump “EcoTouch Ai1 Air Bloc” with a clear, modern design. In addition, the heat pump’s housing dimensions were optimized so that the product blends seamlessly into any living environment.
Efficiency in its most beautiful form
Quiet operation of outdoor units plays a major role in new-build areas. For this reason, the top priority in developing this product was to reduce noise emissions while maintaining high performance.
Accordingly, a weather-resistant housing with special sound insulation was selected for the outdoor unit. This significantly reduced noise emissions in the new version. The air-source heat pump “EcoTouch Ai1 Air Bloc” is therefore the quietest in its performance class.
